VISION STATEMENT

1. Abundant Grace– We value God’s grace: the unmerited and underserved love towards us in His son Jesus Christ through whom in faith we find salvation and eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any mans should boast.

2. Deepening Prayer –We value the importance of prayer as the means of direct, reverent and trusting communication with god through which He reveals His vision to each of us as individuals and collective as a church. Jeremiah 29:11-12(KJV)For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

3. Pasionate Worship –We value passionate worship offered in adoration and praise of God, as we embrace worship that engages our minds and emotions to guide us into deeper commitment of God’s truths. We believe that excellence in worship honours God and inspires people.
Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

4. Extravagant Generosity –We thank god for all things and willingly give back to God in gratitude. With our generosity prayer, presence, gifts service and talents, God not only changes the lives of others, but our lives as well. 1 Corinthians 9:11-12(KJV) If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

5. Sincere Encouragement – We believe that God values all people, therefore we offer sincere encouragement and loving acceptance to everyone we meet. We respond to each other’s needs with compassion, action and hope.
John 13: 34-35 (KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

6. Christian Traditions – We seek to build our faith community upon foundation of Scripture, Christian tradition, and our distinctive Trinity United heritage. We celebrate Christian traditions as an expression of the history of God’s grace and the source from which new traditions grow. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
