About Us
Trinity United Church is a Congregation of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, although many of our members come from other Christian denominations. Our congregation consists of approximately 141 active members representing the various age and population groups of our community. We are not perfect – God is still working on us – we believe the Gospel of a God who loves His people and who saves them through Jesus Christ.
Sunday Services
We have one morning Worship Service at 08h30 and will be starting a vernacular service at 11h00 in the near future . Children and youth can join J.A.M at 08h30
Parking
There is off-street parking within the church grounds for about 35 cars. There is also plenty of road-side parking in the street.
Seating
The church seats 250 people & can open up into a large foyer to increase seating by another 100. On the complex we also have a Chapel that seats 78, a ‘cry room’ for infants & their parents, a large & small hall, as well as a well-equipped kitchen.
Our Gardens
The church gardens are well maintained and creates a welcoming and calming atmosphere. There is a beautiful prayer garden, with water features which provides for people who are looking for a place of peace and quiet. Occasionally worship services are held there, such as Christmas Carol services and Easter Sunrise services. It is also used for photographs after weddings or special occasions. The main feature of the garden is the Wall of Remembrance, where we can remember our loved.
